Owner Comments:

Tantris descends from one of the most influential mare lines in Germany today. Tantris was his breeder’s (Harli Seifert) first approved stallion. She has since produced many top stallions, all from Tantris’ mare line (Rubin Royal, Don Chico, Rubin Action, Rubin Cortes & many more!). His dam¹s sire, Aktuell is a St. Pr. H. in the Hanoverian and Oldenburg stud books and his grandsire, Volturno, won the silver medal in Eventing at the 1976 Olympic Games. Traumdeuter, his sire, was the #2 sire of dressage horses in Germany, and went on to produce many top GP jumpers in Denmark.

Tantris refines heavier mares, while he adds substance to TB and Arabian mares and consistently passes on his wonderful disposition, willingness to learn, balanced and uphill topline, powerful hindquarters and great feet to his get. His offspring are in varied careers, from Field Hunters to Combined Driving and have satisfied owners, those that are showing in dressage and hunters have had a huge percent of success. Tantris is dominant for athletic balance and intelligence, so that they can succeed in most any discipline. Once breeders have bred to him, almost 90% have re bred, including several Veterinarians and an Olympic Farrier! Tantris is incredibly fertile, with most mares settling on one dose of cooled, shipped semen. Now in 2007 there is an introductory rate for frozen semen! And a very SPECIAL EXPO rate, if booked at the Stallion Exhibition.

For 15 years he has been my competition horse, breeding stallion and best friend, he truly is a joy to ride and be around, I treasure every day with him.

Performance History

Tantris has had an outstanding performance career that has proven his ability to consistently progress and win at each level from Training level in 1993 thru Grand Prix in 2004, while maintaining a busy breeding schedule each year. Returning this fall at the age of 18, to FEI competition after three years of letting his offspring do the winning, Tantris won with a 67.9% at the BLM Championship show by more than 5% over the second place horse!
