Prince Optimus produces fancy, refined offspring out of large warmblood mares and well balanced, uphill offspring out of Thoroughbred mares, which are talented for dressage, jumping, hunters and eventing. This isn't surprising because he himself competed successfully both in FEI jumping in Germany and FEI dressage in the USA. Prince Optimus' ridability is second to none. He was shown in Germany by pre-teen and teenage girls! His offspring are sensible and easy to handle, train and ride. Owners often report that his foals are the sweetest and quietest youngsters that they have. His beautiful foals have won many premium awards at warmblood inspections. Prince Optimus is extremely prepotent for his physical characteristics including his topline, neck set, free shoulder, large hindquarters, straight legs and active hocks. He is also prepotent for his good behavior traits such as his excellent character, willingness, trainability and ridability.
